Come See Me at Terp Book Fair
I will have a table at the Terp Book Fair Saturday, April 26 from 10:30-12:30 at the Riggs Center at the University of Maryland (College Park). Come out to get a signed copy and chat. Several other Maryland alums will also be there to showcase their books (including Walt Williams, a freshman on the men's basketball team in 1989) and the campus will be hosting other activities all day for Maryland Day. Go Terps!!
Ain't No Party like a Book Launch Party
Friends and family -- including a few "characters" from the book -- gathered Sunday April 6 in Rockville (dangerously close to where I grew up) to celebrate the publication and launch of "Death of a Childhood." After guests enjoyed dinner and mingling, I answered a few questions about the book from my good friend, web designer and moderator extraordinaire Eric Lyons. Several guests then asked me their own questions via a Q-and-A, followed by my signing and personalizing book copies for them. Special thanks to Rachel and Bhavik for hosting!
